The Chartier family loved their home but felt boxed in by a wall that cut the kitchen off from the living space — and from the pool just beyond the glass.
We removed the load-bearing wall, engineered the proper structural support, and ran polished large-format porcelain across the entire ground floor. The kitchen now opens directly into the living area and out toward the pool, flooding the home with natural light from morning to evening.
It's the same square footage — it just finally feels like the whole house is connected. The kind of open, light-filled space that South Florida living is meant for.
