When the owners of this 1950s SW 47 Terrace home came to us, they had a closed-off floor plan, dated finishes, and a wish list a mile long. We took the house down to the studs and started fresh.
We reconfigured the entire layout into a bright, open-concept living space — removing walls to connect the kitchen, dining, and family room into one continuous flow. Wide-plank flooring runs throughout, recessed lighting replaces every dim fixture, and the surfaces were rebuilt from the structure out with South Florida longevity in mind.
The result is a home that lives twice as large as its footprint suggests — a true Miami family home, finished to last. Every transition, sightline, and light fixture was placed to make the space feel open, calm, and effortlessly connected.
