Miami Springs is Glenn Curtiss's other planned town — Pueblo Revival homes curving around a golf course, five minutes from the airport and somehow a world away from it.
Life here still orbits the Circle and Curtiss Parkway, with the fairways of the Miami Springs Golf & Country Club — one of the oldest courses in Florida — running right through town. The 1920s Pueblo Revival houses, with their rounded parapets and thick stucco walls, are unlike anything else in Dade, and they demand a contractor who respects plaster and proportion. We modernize Springs kitchens and baths while keeping the adobe-style character that makes this town itself.
"They understood our 1926 pueblo house — the plaster work is seamless with the original walls."
