One of our most-photographed kitchens — a Morningside remodel where a hand-laid scallop-tile backsplash steals the show.

We paired an iridescent, fan-shaped scallop tile with high-gloss zebra-wood cabinetry, quartz counters, and a sculptural waterfall island that doubles as a casual eating bar. A skylight and frosted upper cabinets keep the whole space glowing, while integrated appliances keep the lines clean. Warm wood, cool stone, and a backsplash you can't stop looking at.

It's proof that a single, perfectly chosen material can define an entire room.
