Sweetwater is Little Managua — a hardworking city with Nicaraguan soul, fritanga on every corner, and FIU's blue-and-gold energy right at its doorstep.
Founded by a troupe of retired circus performers in the 1940s and reborn as the heart of Miami's Nicaraguan community, Sweetwater has never lacked character. Today it sits at one of the busiest crossroads in Dade — Florida International University on one side, Dolphin Mall on the other — and its homes work as hard as their owners, often housing two or three generations. We remodel Sweetwater kitchens and baths for real family life: durable materials, smart layouts, honest written estimates.
"Three generations under one roof and now a kitchen big enough for all of us. Gente seria."
— Homeowner, Sweetwater
